After having faithfully using the regular Glossed Edges, I thought I’d give this version a try. Perhaps I misunderstood the intended use for this gel, but I was expecting an edge control that would help tame my coily, wiry gray edges. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the result I experienced. While the fragrance of this gel is divine, it just wasn’t giving the hold I was looking for. Hoping to get through this jar quickly so that I can order more of the original formula.
This is by far my favorite gel for curly hair. It keeps my hair in place all day and never flakes!
I love this product. It's the first edge control that didn't leave white nasty residue. It did well for my daughter knotless braids as well. Highly recommend.. It also washes out easily.. all I have to do is wet my hair and rub it out.. Both products work well. The pink jar is alot more manageable because it is a softer consistency for curly hair. The black jar is more stiff
Finally something to hold down my curly grey hairs. I works great i will be ordering again. I have natural hair and it holds it down no problem.
